With a history of exceptional performance in the High Tech industry, Melissa ascended the corporate ranks, progressing from an administrative assistant to the role of Product Marketing Manager. She adeptly managed accounts for prestigious corporations like Intel, Toshiba, and Motorola, showcasing her expertise. Melissa’s professional journey encompasses a broad spectrum of office management facets, ranging from smaller private enterprises to major Fortune 500 companies. Why STARRY?
The name STARRY comes from my love of the artwork of Van Gogh, more specifically the beautiful way he portrays Starry skies.
Reading
Reading is a longtime love of mine. I like to read everything from fiction to legal briefs. I always have a book going, often times more than one.
Travel
Travelling is a passion. I’ve visited Europe, Australia and the South Pacific. On my wish list are visits to Japan and South Korea.
Animal Charities
I have a soft spot for animal charities and support them whenever possible. I have two rescue pets of my own that I love to spoil.
Concerts
I enjoy going to concerts and have been known to fly to different cities to see some of my favourite groups.
Jeopardy
I once auditioned for Jeopardy and had the opportunity to meet Alex Trebek.
